Hello guys! Welcome to my blog!
Thank you for taking the time to read my initial blog post.
First, let me clarify that this blog is intended as a resource for people who are in business. I mean the people like you whose energy and focus are primed to promote a business or brand in any business sector, globally or locally. It is not about my love for ice cream, chocolate or pizza though I mean it. Seriously, I have a lot more important things to share to you than these everyday goodies.
Whether you are a copywriter on a project hunt, an ad man looking for the big break or perhaps a corporate marketing guy leading your team in building your brand or re-branding, I am a few of those guys who understands what you are doing. Not as a wordsmith or agency. To put it clearly, I was a corporate marketing guy first before becoming a copywriter that I am as you see in me now.
My previous job was not a simple one. It involved blazing the business trail, opening markets and channels for our brand and broadening our customer base in targeted market segments. That is speaking in general terms. Behind the scene, there was a lot of activity performed simultaneously with other departments. Other services were outsourced (such as advertising).
Because our company was a global leader, it was also possible to seek product segment support worldwide. We did this by either support online or an engineer flying in from half way around the world to have a look at a local situation. That was then. Now, the work pace is not harrowing anymore. But having gone through it all, I am ready to share with you a piece of my mind. I hope you will enjoy reading.
Let me tell you a secret. Like you, I admire a genius copywriter. He is someone who has copious resources of words and, with creativity, weaves words into concepts and thoughts that come alive in the webpages, articles, blogs, press releases and social media.
Unfortunately, I am not as gifted or as genius. Nonetheless, as someone who has been on the inside in a company, I have the experience in guiding you through the complexities of business in simple and easily understandable terms. In turn, this understanding shared to you through my copywriting can make you more effective at every aspect of service you are doing for your customers in providing them crucial solutions for business.
The question is, are there still people looking for the “inside stuff” to give them insight into business to increase chances for success? Please let me know your ideas in the comment space below.
Hi, grats on doing your first blog post! I think there’s always interest in reading another perspective on business. And, hey, anyone who likes coffee is okay by me. 😉 Cheers and best of luck!
Yes, best of luck with the new blog. I’m always interested in the ‘inside stuff’ but it never seems to work for me! I’ll let you know when any of it does!
